TORRINGTON— Early Friday morning (1:37am) police responded to a 911 hang-up call originating from a two-family home on Forest Street in Torrington. Executing a mandatory welfare check at the residence, authorities were met with a disconcerted man refusing to cooperate and acting erratically according to police documents. Police questioned the man, later identified as Jason Nesheim of Torrington, and tried to locate the source of the anonymous call. Nesheim became combative with the T.P.D. and was tasered twice as a result. After the subject was placed in custody, the house was given a routine walk-through by police. Three deceased occupants were found inside. Perceived as the inhabitants of the dwelling: mother, daughter, and amiable family canine had all been violently beaten to death. Police continued inspection of the apartment to find a video transcribed to the popular videosharing website "youtube" vividly depicting the events leading up to the demise of the trio.

A statement obtained from police department spokesperson Ofc. Dick Fitzwell, "Currently we are in interrogations with the only individual to make it out of the house unscathed [Nesheim]. Nesheim is now officially our number one suspect."

Nesheim, 25, no previous address shown; is no stranger to the Torrington Police Department. An extensive history of arrests ranging from breach of peace to harassment(2) were shown in a police manifest.

The two deceased, known by neighbors as lazy, loud, and just plain stupid are survived by one daughter/sister, and a husband/father.

The videosharing site has been subpoenaed and is expected to give testimony about the explicit video that was uploaded relevant to the crimes.

Nesheim remains on a $135,000 bond according to court documents. He is scheduled to appear before a judge on April 25.
